Dr. LeAnn Gutierrez possesses over two decades of progressive experience in various healthcare administrative roles. She has served in leadership positions at Florida Atlantic University, the University of Oregon, and The University of Texas at Austin from 2010 to 2022. As a seasoned college health and student affairs professional, she has delivered numerous DEIA presentations nationwide and provided individual coaching and organizational consultations.

Dr. Gutierrez has also served as a keynote speaker for several cultural events in the higher education sector. Her educational background includes a bachelor's degree in psychology, a master's in business administration with a concentration in healthcare management, and a doctorate in philosophy in higher education administration. Central to her work is promoting health equity and educating global communities on the significance of DEIA initiatives.

During his professional career, Dr. Gutierrez has held a multitude of positions in case management, program mentoring, leadership, and education, spanning various corporate entities, K-12, and Higher Education.

Dr. Gutierrez has specialized in working with English as a Second Language (ESL) populations and has developed a profound understanding of immersion strategies. His educational qualifications include a bachelor's degree in human services from St. Edwards University, a master's degree in education focusing on curriculum and instruction, and a Ph.D. in organizational leadership from Concordia University Chicago.

Petra Gutierrez, MPH, is an accomplished marketing professional with over 8 years of experience in outreach and program coordination. During her career, Petra has been instrumental in leading virtual workshops for under-resourced community groups, addressing the unique needs of individuals facing chronic diseases, addiction, homelessness, and domestic violence. 

Petra has also demonstrated her expertise in mental health education by providing formalized training to educators, health providers, primary care professionals, and students. Through her strategic outreach efforts, she has fostered positive relationships with local community agencies, ensuring the success of mental health initiatives.

With a Master's in Public Health, Petra brings a solid foundation in public health principles to her role as a Growth Marketing Manager. Her exceptional skills in community outreach, coupled with her passion for empowering under-resourced communities, make her a valuable asset. Petra's commitment to supporting individuals in achieving healthy lifestyles and her ability to create impactful programs have consistently showcased her effectiveness as a compassionate and results-driven professional in the field of marketing.
 

Dr. Mark Perez boasts an extensive background of over three decades in the medical field, encompassing various disciplines, including emergency medicine and family medicine. Dr. Perez has been actively engaged as a civil surgeon for over two decades. Throughout his career, Dr. Perez has demonstrated a steadfast commitment to serving his community through his private practice and invaluable contributions to emergency medicine during his professional journey. Notably, he possesses exceptional expertise in assisting individuals challenged with addictions, providing them with comprehensive programs to facilitate their recovery. His compassionate nature, exceptional communication skills, and unwavering dedication have led his career to focus on partnering with the DEIA Training Institute to promote health equity for all underserved populations.

Dr. Perez's educational achievements are equally impressive, encompassing a bachelor's degree in biology with minors in Chemistry and Psychology. Dr. Perez also holds a Master of Science in Health Care Administration and a Doctor of Medicine degree from the esteemed University of Southern California. He has consistently demonstrated his dedication to serving various communities, particularly the Latino/a/x community, homeless community, incarcerated individuals, black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC), persons living with HIV/AIDS, and individuals facing mental health and substance use issues.
